Stuttgarten Social (May 1-2)LINK

Scheduled to coincide with the Porsche Club of America’s annual Swap meet in Carlisle that’s billed as the largest of its kind in the world, the Stuttgarten Social aims to blend a casual spring garden party one of Germany’s most legendary marques.

At one time, the Swap Meet was a Hershey fixture, with regulars often mentioning the draw of Carlisle’s neighbor to the East. With the Stuttgarten Social, we aim to create a complementary event that helps create even more reason to make a weekend of it in central PA. Stay in Hershey, enjoying local Hershey resorts such as the Hotel Hershey & Spa, Hershey Lodge & Convention Center (just up the walking trail from our venue) or the new Hershey Inn and Suites located just steps away from our event and opening on the same weekend. We’re definitely commuting distance and a member of our community has even drawn out some more scenic driving routes should you prefer to take the longer way between these two incredible Porsche events.

Long Roof Longings (June 6)

The station wagon (a.k.a. “Long Roof”) has been a longtime favorite of both families or simply car enthusiasts seeking something a little more practical. The name stems from the pre-automotive era when a wagon for picking up at the local train station was in order. That morphed to a long-roofed 5-door take on the sedan model that went from wood-sided offerings in the early years to today’s more modern takes that may pair high performance or SUV-like cladding yet stay true to the long roof form. Station wagons are a popular choice amongst the Hershey Car Meetup regulars and a curated and diverse mix of these much-loved cars will be displayed.

Beach Trucks & Buggies (July)

While the beach may be hours away from Hershey, PA, the idea of vacation is still in our blood. When they want to unwind, many Hershey natives skip the chocolate town tourism and head to the coast for their summer vacations. If we can’t be at the beach this July then we’ve decided to bring the beach to us by highlighting the art of the beach truck or buggy.

Whether your idea (or fantasy) of beach transport is a Baja Bug, dune buggy, a vintage overlander or even a pickup, you likely qualify for just the sort of vehicles we’re seeking to celebrate this summer.

TBD (August)

August is often a time of vacations. Even when it’s not, competing events such as Monterey Car Week also vie for our attention. In as much, final details on August have yet to be drawn. When they are, we will add them here.

Oktoberfest (September 5)

Perhaps you’re thinking, “But it’s not October yet!”. That’s true. In Germany, the real Oktoberfest begins in September. We’re going to begin our own Oktoberfest celebration early as well. Covering multiple beloved enthusiast brands – Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen with such a popular theme is worth getting to while the weather is still warm and the fast-paced activity of Hershey Car Week hasn’t yet begun.

Hershey Car Week (October)

If you’re not familiar, what we’re coming to refer to as “Hershey Car Week” is a run in early October that spreads through Carlisle’s massive Fall Show through the Antique Automobile Club of America’s annual (and equally massive) Hershey Meet. In between, any number of events happen including RM Sotheby’s Hershey Sale, the AACA Library Sale and more days of swap meet activity than are probably healthy for all but the most robust car enthusiasts.

As with August, we’re still drafting the plan for Hershey Car Week and will post those details here when they have been determined. In 2025, we hosted our first Legends on the Lawn: British Invasion and for 2026 we’re hoping to bring several fun events to the fore.

Stay Tuned.
